I thought I should write an “about” page in case someone, somehow, comes across this blog, so . . . This blog is here primarily to try and help me organize and develop this:

into a semi-coherent grammar of the constructed language (conlang) I’ve been creating. I’m hoping that with time-stamps all over, the ability to create structure while approaching it in a hodge-podge manner, and an imaginary audience to write for, I might be motivated to work away piece by piece in a more consistent fashion than I have over the last two and a half years since I started this project. My notes are a total mess–scribbled out, torn, and unorganized–so I’m hoping a blog will finally let me figure out what I do and don’t have. This is a monoblogue publicly viewable but unadvertised to people who might actually read it (friends, family, and other conlangers) . . . originally I was going to share it with everyone, but then I chickened out (I’m hoping I will eventually summon the guts to though). It’s easier to write like there are readers, so I’ll be writing it in the style of a traditional grammar (they assume a readership too, despite the fact they’re probably more likely to spend their life on a bookshelf in a university library forever unread).
